When we visit a wild monkey field, we start by distinguishing each individual by watching them as the first step. Sometimes we spend several years to make a database for each individual. We believe that such a standpoint, in which we recognize primates as our fellows, is indispensable for investigating the personality of not only primates, but alsoincluding human beings.
