The toca1nf4 and cip4nf5 zebrafish mutants were developed using CRISPR/Cas9 technology. The toca1nf4 mutant carries a 5-bp deletion and a 2-bp insertion in the exon 2 of toca1, creating a premature stop codon as described below (a-d). The cip4nf5 mutant carries a 5-bp deletion in the exon 4 of cip4, creating a premature stop codon as described below (e-h). Protocols for genomic PCR to identify the mutants are described in Yuge et al. Nature Communications 2022 May 12;13(1):2594. The Tg(fli1a:LIFEACT-mCherry)ncv7Tg line has been developed and deposited by Dr. Naoki Mochizuki (National Cerebral and Cardiovascular Center Research Institute).
