・How to Request for Strains

1. Search for Strains

  • 1.1 Search for strains using the "Overview for strains" page.
  • 1.2 Click on the button to add strains to your cart.
  • 1.3 Your cart will be displayed in the Requested resources box at the top of the page.
  • 1.4 To cancel a requested strain, click on the button. This will be reflected in the Request resources box.
  • 1.5 When you have decided on your request, click the button.

2. Enter your personal information

    Click the "Login" button.
  • 2.2
    Enter your email address and password, and click the "Login" button.

    * In Safari on MacOS, if you check `Prevent cross-site tracking` in the privacy settings, a login error will be displayed.
    Please open Safari Preferences, by clicking on the `Safari` menu on the left of the menu bar and uncheck `Prevent cross-site tracking`.

    If you cannot change the Safari settings, please use an another browser such as Google Chrome.

    Repeat User
    Confirm your ID and login name, and click the "Next" button.
  • 2.3.1
    First Time User
    If you using this website for the first time, you need to register as a user. Select your current location and click the "Next" button.
  • 2.3.2
    Enter your personal information, click the "Next" button.

    Required fields are marked with an asterisk * .

3. Agree on the MTA (Material Transfer Agreement)

  • 3.1
    Check the "I agree" box and click the "Next" button.
    Note: You have to agree with our policy in order to proceed.

4. Confirm your Order

    Confirm your order.
    If you want to change your order, click the "Change resources" button.
  • 4.2
    Confirm your personal information.
    If you want to change your information, click the "Update Information" button.

  • 4.3
    Fill in the comments box if you have any questions or comments and click the "Send" button.
  • 4.4
    This completes your order.
    This page will be displayed if you have successfully placed your order.

5. Order Completed

If your order was successful, a confirmation email will be sent to your email address.
If a MTA (MATERIAL TRANSFER AGREEMENT) is attached to your confirmation email,
please print two copies of each MTA and have the required information filled in by the research group representative in charge.
Please send both copies by postal mail to the address stated in the email.
Do not send the MTA by facsimile or email.
The strains you requested will be sent to you after we have received the proper documents from you.
If there are any problems, please contact the appropriate facility.

Certain strains require different procedures for their MTA documents. Please refer to the following URL for further information.

All strains goes from free to fee.
You will be notified of the payment via e-mail from the facility later.
