| Information | |
| it627 is a mutant strain of kdm1a gene (or LSD1) isolated from an ENU mutagenesis screen. The it627 mutation replaces Gln609 with a stop codon that leads to a truncation of C-terminal ∼200-amino acids including a peptide domain essential for the enzymatic activity. The homozygous mutants have defects in primitive erythropoiesis with a drastic reduction of gata1 expression. They have also defects in a swim bladder inflation and become lethal around 10 dpf larvae. |
