(ncv2Tg) This Tg line expresses myristoylation signal (Myr)-tagged EGFP under the control of endothelial cell-specific fli1a promoter. Thus, the plasma membrane of endothelial cells can be labeled by EGFP fluorescence in this Tg line. (ncv7Tg) This Tg line expresses C-terminally mCherry-tagged LIFEACT, a small actin binding peptide, under the control of endothelial-specific fli1a promoter. LIFEACT-mCherry indicates localization of F-actin. (nf1m) The kctd10nf1m mutant, which was developed using TALEN technique, harbors a 5-bp deletion and a 1-bp insertion in the exon 3 of kctd10, resulting in a premature stop codon as described below. Mutant alleles can be identified by HpaII digestion of a PCR product generated with the following primer set: 5'-CCTCACTGATAGCGAAGGTAGG-3' and 5'-CATTTTGGTGCGATTATTACCC-3'. |
