A former trainer in Izu Shaboten Park stated on February 1, 2004, that the individual's breed registry name in Europe was Grietje, and her EAZA number was 12013. Her mother was Jet(EAZA 11263) of central chimpanzee, and her father was Mike (EAZA 11015) of western chimpanzee. She was a sister of Joanne {0228} with the same mother and father. She was named Tina based on a beautiful javelin thrower in Los Angeles Olympics. She has a small body with long arms and legs.
Character
This individual has an experience of appearing in a show. She sometimes "displays itself" to visitors. She can "stand up," "jump," and "salute." She copulates with Wiley. Since Wiley escaped before his ejaculation, the copulation seemed to be incomplete. She is the easiest to handle among the three individuals. She is a naughty girl without a crooked disposition. Life history
1983.02.05 Tina was born at Amersfort Zoo, Netherland. She was hand-reared with one year older sister Joanne  {0228} .
1984.05.16 moved to SOEST
1984.05.17 imported by Aritake
1984.07.16 Tina moved to Izu Shaboten Park. She make an appearance on a show with Joanne  {0228} .
1994.08 Tina lived with other chimpanzees in Chimpanzee island after retired from show.
1995.03.24 Tina moved to Kofu City Yuuki Park's Zoo with Judy  {0141} . She lives with Judy  {0141}  and Wiley  {0219} .
