The individual was the second gorilla born in Japan, and the first child bred by his mother. After moving to Japan Monkey Center, he was given a nickname Kiso-Tarou by public offering, and he was called Tarou.

1971.02.02 Fujio was born at Ritsurin Park Zoo. His father is Ricky (Sambo)  {0012} , and his mother is Rinko  {0013} .
