Link to ZFIN
Information
atg9a- and atg9b-double mutants (loss-of-function mutation of both atg9a and atg9b) were generated by CRISPR/Cas9.

10-base deletion was introduced in exon8 of atg9a gene by using CRISPR method.
The heterozygous fish was identified by heteroduplex mobility assay using followed primers:
atg9a-f, CGAGTGGAGTTTGAAGAGCGAGTAC
atg9a-r, GCTCTCGCTTGATCACCTCAGTGTAG
Mutation:
5’-CCGCCTGAGCTCGAGGATCTTGT-3’ Wild-type allele
5’-CCG----------AGGATCTTGT-3’ Mutated allele (-10 bp)

14-base insertion was introduced in exon5 of atg9b gene by using CRISPR method.
The heterozygous fish was identified by heteroduplex mobility assay using followed primers:
atg9b-f, CAGGCAATTCCTGTTTGTGGTCACG
atg9b-r, CATCAGGAAGGGTGACTTTGCTCC
Mutation:
5’-CCAATCGAGCCGTCAATCACACG-3’ Wild-type allele
5’-CCAACATCAATCACACGGGTCAGCCGTCAATCACACG-3’ Mutated allele (+14 bp)
