Strain Name: off-road / Allele: rw166

Allele rw166
Strain Name off-road
Type Mutant
Genotype celsr2rw166/rw166
Affected Gene celsr2
Origin and Depositor RIKEN CBS (Hitoshi Okamoto)
Link to ZFIN ZDB-GENO-051117-2
Information
Caudal migration of facial neurons is partly disrupted. This is because the redundant functions of celsr1a and celsr1b rescue the phenotype. Rw71 allele carries a point mutation (amino acid substitution) in the extracellular domian of celsr2.
The Conditions to Distribute Strains
