Information
Axonal growth of the posterior trigeminal motoneurons within the second branchial arch (BA2) is impaired. Islet-1-GFP-positive neurons are ectopically induced in the dorsolateral part of r4 to r6 in the hindbrain and in the epibranchial region in BA2. The axons of secondary motoneurons show abnormal trajectory.
