This transgenic zebrafish is established for monitoring ERK activity in endothelial cells. The EGFP express in ERK activated endothelial cells. The EGFP mainly express in tip and stalk cells during ISV formation, and in tip cell for PAV formation. The EGFP is observed approximately from 18 hpf to 27 hpf during ISV formation (A). About PAV formation, the EGFP expressing cells are observed approximately from 35 hpf to 45 hpf (B). The RECIPIENT shall acquire a prior written consent from Prof. Koichi Kawakami of National Institute of Genetics (Contact: Intellectual Property Unit, chizai[at]nig.ac.jp) for Tg(UAS:EGFP). The Tg(fli1:Myr-mCherry) is gift from Prof. Naoki Mochizuki of National Cerebral and Cardiovascular Center. This strain was developed by Kenta Terai, Laboratory of Bioimaging and Cell Signaling, Graduate School of Biostudies, Kyoto University.
