Characteristics This strain was designed to allow expression of cre recombinase by heat treatment.
The expression of cre recomibnase is induced by heat treatment (39°C, 2hr).

Response of HSE by heat treatment.
Although the fluorescense of mCherry is not observed, response of hse was confirmed with hse-GFP line at the following stage. 1) When heat treatment was done in embryos at early stage, uniform GFP fluorescence was observed. 2) When heat treatment was done at stage 32-33, certain types of the cells shows GFP expression in brain, heart, liver, muscle, spinal cord, fins, blood cells, pronephros and digestive tract at 3 dph.
