ro

Strain information
Strain ID MT92
Strain Name ro
Strain Type Mutants
Characteristics The ro mutant was isolated by Hideo Tomita. Masahiko Hibi et al. found that ro locus encodes Contactin1b (Cntn1b). All the cntn1b mutant juvenile and adult fish show abnormal wobbling and rolling swimming behaviors. They have defective optokinetic response (OKR) adaptation and abnormal rheotaxis (body positioning to water flow).
