runx2(del7)
Strain information | |
---|---|
Strain ID | MT1245 |
Strain Name | runx2(del7) |
Strain Type | Mutants |
Characteristics | A 7 bp was deleted in exon 2 of runx2 gene by the TALEN genome editing system. This mutation is expected to introduce frame-shift mutation, resulting in truncation of the C-terminus of the runx2 protein, including the runt domain. The homozygous mutant shows abnormal development of the head skeletal structures. runx2 is also known as cbfa1(core-binding factor subunit alpha-1). |
