Strain ID | TG1257 |
Strain Name | shh-EGFP |
Strain Type | Transgenics |
Characteristics | shha (sonic hedgehog a) is a member of the hedgehog gene family. A fosmid clone (GOLWFno139_g12) including the shha gene, which was identified from the Medaka ensemble database, was used for homologous recombination. The EGFP-kanamycin cassette was recombined into exon 1 of the medaka shha gene. The medaka Cab line was used for establishment of the shha-EGFP transgenic medaka. The EGFP expression is mainly observed in notochord. |
