Strain information | |
---|---|
Strain ID | MT1239 |
Strain Name | lrp6(ins4) |
Strain Type | Mutants |
Characteristics | A 1 bp deletion and a 5 bp insertion were occurred in exon 2 of lrp6 (low-density lipoprotein receptor-related protein 6) gene by the CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing system. This mutation is expected to introduce frame-shift mutation and anticipated to produce dysfunction in the lrp6 protein. This mutant showed defect in development of trunk and tail. The homozygous mutant is lethal. |
