col10a1:nlGFP
Strain information | |
---|---|
Strain ID | TG1129 |
Strain Name | col10a1:nlGFP |
Strain Type | Transgenics |
Characteristics | The col10a1:nlGFP transgenic embryos express GFP in osteoblast progenitors and pre-mature osteoblasts (see Renn et al., Dev Biol 2013). At later stages, nlGFP expression is also found in chondrocytes. Note that the nuclear localization signal (nl) is leaky and GFP expression is also observed in cytoplasm. |

TG1129_col10a1 nlGFP_transgene map A 5.865kb upstream regulatory region of the medaka col10a1 locus was amplified from genomic medaka DNA using the primers 5′.CCCATGCTTGTTTTCCTGTT-3′ and 5′.TCCAAACAGATCT- GACCTTGC-3′, and cloned in to a meganuclease vector with GFP followed by a nuclear localization signal (for details see Renn et al., Dev Biol 2013). |
