Strain ID | MT1118 |
Strain Name | OlTGK1(ins2) |
Strain Type | Mutants |
Characteristics |
In the sequence of OlTGK1, 3 bp in the sequence (No.341-343, LC068829) was deleted and unrelated sequences (5 bps, CCGTC) were inserted. Totally, 2 bps were inserted resulting in the mutation at the amino acid position No.114 (BAT61949). At the larvae stage, this mutants is shown to be sensitive to higher osmolality solution, containing 150 mM NaCl in the circulating tap water. They survive less period (0-1 days) that wild-type (2-3 days). Data are published in Biosci. Biotechnol. Biochem. 82, 1165-1168 (2018). |
