myod1-EGFP
Strain information | |
---|---|
Strain ID | TG1256 |
Strain Name | myod1-EGFP |
Strain Type | Transgenics |
Characteristics | myod1 (myogenic differentiation 1) is a basic helix loop helix transcription factor and acts as a myogenic regulatory factor. A fosmid clone (GOLWFno708_j18) including the myod1 gene, which was identified from the Medaka ensemble database, was used for homologous recombination. The EGFP-kanamycin cassette was recombined into exon 1 of the medaka myod1 gene. The medaka Cab line was used for establishment of the myod1-EGFP transgenic medaka. The EGFP expression is observed in muscle. |
