How to Request for Strains [Japanese | English]
1. Search for Strains

1.1 Search for strains from the Medaka Resources page.

1.2 Click the
button to add a resource to your cart.

1.3 Click the
button to remove a resource from your cart.

1.4 Review the resources in your cart and follow the same steps to continue adding resources.

1.5 When you are ready to request for the strains, click the
button.

2. Enter your personal information

2.1 Select the preferred life stage of your resources.

2.2 If you are a registered user, enter your email address and password and click the “Next” button.

2.3.1 If you are not a registered user, select your place of residence and click the “Next” button.

2.3.2 Enter your personal information, click the "Next" button. Required fields are marked with an asterisk *.

2.3.3 Once you have created a user account, you will need to activate your account within 24 hours to complete the registration process. If your account is not activated, you will not be able to request for resources. Please refer to the registration confirmation email for further details.

3. Agree on the MTA (Material Transfer Agreement)

3.1 If you agree to the MTA, check the "I agree" box and click the "Next" button. Please note that you have to agree to the MTA in order to request for strains.

4. Confirm your Order

4.1 Confirm your order. If you want to change your order, click the "Change resources" button.

4.2 Confirm your personal information. If you want to change your information, click the "Update Information" button.

4.3 Fill in the comments box if you have any questions or comments and click the "Send" button.

4.4 This completes your order. This page will be displayed if you have successfully placed your order.

5. Order Completed

If your order was successful, a confirmation email will be sent to your email address. If a MTA (MATERIAL TRANSFER AGREEMENT) is attached to your confirmation email, please print two copies of each MTA and have the required information filled in by the
research group representative in charge. Please send both copies by postal mail to the address stated in the email.
Do not send the MTA by facsimile or email.
The strains you requested will be sent to you after we have received the proper documents from you. If there are any problems, please contact the appropriate facility.
