Proposal
In the International Symposium of Cytoplasmic Engineering in
Wheat held in July, 1991 at Sapporo, Japan, the following proposal
for nomenclature of genetic symbols for cytoplasmic genomes in
Triticum and Aegilops was presented by Dr. Koichiro
Tsunewaki, Kyoto University. The editorial board of WIS would like to
call wheat researchers to discuss on this proposal. Articles for or
against this proposal will be welcomed by WIS.
