40th Anniversary for the discovery of right chromosome number of wheat

"It is already 40 years since the right chromosome numbers of wheat were found by Dr. K. Sax and Dr. T. Sakamura in 1918." Dr. Kihara writes an article for the present number (page 1-2) in regared to this matter, and we shall be happy if any one would write for the next number of WIS about the surprise which was occasioned by their epochmaking discoveries.

We are very glad to know that both Dr. Sax and Dr. Sakamura are keeping good health, and we expect to hear something from them in the next number.
