Message to the Geneticists of the World
In this period of international tensions, the hope of the world rests in
strengthening the bonds of understanding and sympathy among all peoples.
The geneticists have an opportunity to contribute significantly to this
process. We hope that the coming International Congress of Genetics will
be attended by more representatives from all parts of the world than ever
before and that it will be successful in strengthening our feeling of unity
as well as in defining the current stage of development of our science.
