Summary
Identification of chromosomes carrying genes for striata
mutant in wheat was undertaken through conventional
monosomic method using Pb C 591 as female parent. The mutant
was found to be controlled by two pairs of recessive
complementary genes which were located on chromosomes 3A and
7D.
